3 IPS, 5 others shifted

JAMMU: The state government on Monday transferred two IPS officers, even as one IPS officer moved on centre deputation. Besides it also carried out a minor reshuffle in the middle-rung administration shifting 5 officers.
As per the official order, the services of Rajesh Kumar, Inspector General of Police, SSG, J&K, were placed at the disposal of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, for his appointment as Inspector General in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).The IPS officer of J&K Cadre of 1995 batch has been deputed for a period of five years.
Consequently, Surinder Kumar Gupta (JK:1997), IGP Hqrs, PHQ was transferred and posted as Director, SSG, J&K, vice Rajesh Kumar, whereas Anand Jain, (JK:1999), IGP, awaiting orders of adjustment was posted as IGP Hqrs, PHQ, J&K vice Gupta.
Meanwhile, Ishfaq Ahmed Wani, under orders of repatriation to the J&K Legislative Council, was posted as General Manager, SKICC, on ex-cadre basis, whereas Dr. Nargis Suraiya, Development Officer, Handicrafts (Textile), Srinagar, was transferred and posted as Joint Director, Handlooms, Kashmir, vice Bashir Ahmad Wani who in turn has been transferred and posted as Joint Director, Education (North Kashmir), against an available vacancy.
Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Srinagar, was also transferred and posted as Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD), Srinagar/Ganderbal, against an available vacancy. Akramullah Tak, Joint Director, Employment, Kashmir, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive), Srinagar, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Meanwhile, Seema Bharti, Collector Land Acquisition, Special Collector, Defence, Udhampur, was transferred and posted as Special Assistant in the personal section of Vice Chairman, J&K State Advisory Board for Welfare and Development of Scheduled Castes.
