Army organises a Kabaddi match at Padhyarna Region, Kishtwar district
Kishtwar, Mar 5 : Continuing the effort of nurturing sporting talent of Kishtwari youth and encouraging the young minds of the district to participate in constructive activities, Indian Army organised a friendly Kabaddi Match at Padhyarna, Kishtwar.
The matches commenced with playing of National Anthem at Padhyarna region, a total of four teams participated in competition. The youth turned out in large numbers to cheer the teams. The final match was played between Padhyarna team and Dul A team. The match was won by Dul A team.
The participants and spectators lauded the initiatives and expressed hope that such initiatives by Army will give a fillip and also interactions will aid in developing healthy competitive spirit amongst the youth of the area.
