Whos who of film world pay their last respects to Sridevi
New Delhi/Mumbai, Feb 28 : The entire whos who of the film indistry and fans and well wishers on Wednesday paid their last respects to Bollywood veteran actress Sridevi.
Fans, people from the film industry, as well as political leaders, visited The Celebration Spots Club in Mumbai, where Sridevi’s family hosted a prayer meeting , to pay their last respects to the late actress.
Among those who paid their last respects to the actress were actors Rekha, Vidya Balan,Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hema Malini, Susmita Sen, Anupam Kher, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Deepika Padukone, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Ritesh Deshmukh , Siddharth Malhotra, Tanuja and her daughter Tanisha, filmmakers Shekhar Kapoor, Karan Johar and Rakesh Roshan, lyricist and CBFC chief Prasoon Joshi.
Sridevi's fans were seen queuing up outside the Celebrations Sports Club to pay their last respects.
The mortal remains of the late actress will be cremated at Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetry in Mumbai's Vile Parle area.
The legendary actress will be cremated with full state honours with her body being covered with a tricolour.
The 54-year-old Bollywood icon died in Dubai on Saturday where she had gone to attend a family wedding.
