Dr Ram Singh awarded National Integration award

SAMBA: Assistant Professor Dr Ram Singh was belonging to mandi sangwali Samba district has been honored with the National Integration Award by the Himotkarash Parishad, a leading organization of Northern India, in a grand ceremony held in Una district of Himachal Pradesh.

Himachal Pradesh Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister Virendra Kanwar and State BJP President Satpal Singh gave Dr. Ram Singh the national integration award.

The award named as Er Manmohan Singh Kanwar and Pramila Kanwar Memorial Himotkarsh National Integration (Youth talent) Award 2018.This award has given to Dr. Ram Singh in the education sector keeping in mind his exemplary services.

Dr. Ram Singh, born in the house of former soldier Milkha Singh and mother Shama Devi in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir on 1 May 1970, is well renowned name in the education world. At present, Dr.Ram Singh is working as the Assistant Professor in the Government Degree College, Samba. Due to the birth of Dr. Singh in the normal family and due to his father death in his early childhood period, he faces various challenges in his life but his passion for education did not allow him to stop. Dr. Ram Singh passed the MA in education from University of Jammu. He got the first position in the exam and received Gold Medal and in 1999, he appointed teacher in the school education department.

Even after the appointment, Dr. Ram continued his studies and qualified PhD. and NET. In 2007, he was appointed Assistant professor in education and joined Govt. Degree college samba. He also served in the hard area college of the state namely Govt Degree college Bani for three years. He rendered his services in Govt. Degree college kathua for five years.

Writing in academic activities is his favorite area. In this sequence16, he has written books related to the subject in the short period. Similarly, 07 research papers are published in various national journals and 24 articles are published in various newspapers and magazines. He also has great fame in reading papers and participating in national seminars. Dr. Ram has so far read out the papers in 26 national seminars. In addition to teaching, Dr. Ram Singh takes the responsibility of other activities apart from teaching with the open arms. He has also organised three national seminars in the college. Similarly, he is an active member of many national organizations, academic and social institutions.
