It’s great loss: Farooq on Sridevi

Jammu, Feb 25 : National Conference president and former Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Sunday termed death of Bollywood actress Sridevi as great loss.

“I feel very sad today because one of the finest actresses India had, have lost,” Dr Abdullah told reporters here on Sunday on the sidelines of a function.

“It is a great loss,” said the NC leader.

He said, “she had acted in number of films and I think she was class actress.”

“I think those who have seen her growing as an actress and in the films will miss her. We will all miss her,” said the political stalwart.

“We wish peace in her soul. May she rest in the heaven and may though her family have the courage to come out of this loss,” he added.

Actress Sridevi died at 54 of cardiac arrest in Dubai where she had gone to attend a marriage function.
