In its journey of around one year and half ‘We The Women’ has brought for you about the experiences of several women around us, from scratch to master-piece, the life they have created for themselves. To achieve so, we have interacted with numerous marvelous women who are doing tremendous job in their respective fields and are exemplary in their own special ways. And since we are aware that they are still continuing to grow and thrive, it is only fair for the spirit of community of women we are striving to create here, to go back to those women who have already been on this page along with bringing new faces and catch up with them to get updated. So here’s what Manvi Gandotra (Founder | 1Plus1 Studio) has written to us.
Thank you for your continued support and friendship. 2018 has started insanely awesome year for the 1plus1 Studio team and we wanted to share 3 highlights with you.
Globe Trotting from Sri Lanka to California!
1. We shot an intimate wedding at the historic Galle Face Hotel in Sri Lanka where we got to see 2 cultures blend in a really colorful and warm celebration. (Sri Lankan Groom - Indian Bride).
2. We were lucky enough to start out this year with an inter-cultural wedding shoot in Bangkok @ the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers by the Chao Phraya River (Dutch Groom - Indian Bride).
3. Then we flew into sunny California for a charming wedding at a Vineyard (Indian Groom - Indian Bride).

We’ve been getting a lot of recognition for our work this year. We’ve been featured on the cover story of Harper's Bazaar Bride & Femina Wedding Times Magazine, Senhora Magazine reached out to us for the trends in the wedding industry and featured our work.
YourStory did a really cool story of our journey that had over 4400 shares!
We were fortunate enough to be listed as one of India’s top wedding photographers@ The Style Lamp. Plus a lot of our weddings have been featured in POPxo, WedMeGood, Maharani Weddings, WeddingSutra.

The Gorgeous wonder that is India
We never imagined we would be cutting across the length and breadth of India and shooting at utterly delightful and adorable towns and resorts.
We shot an amazingly unconventional wedding at the Zuri Kumarkom of a Dutch Groom and Indian Bride. They simply exchanged vows on a boat on the backwaters!
We shot a wedding at the Radisson Blue Temple where the mandap was by the beach!
At the tip of India we managed the capture the love between an Indian startup founder and his bride as they walked by the dancing waters.
The Anantya Resorts in Kanyakumari is truly mesmerising! And yes thats the groom on an elephant!
