SPO injured in accidental firing in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Feb 24 : A Special Police Officer (SPO) of Jammu and Kashmir police was injured when his service weapon went off accidentally in south Kashmir district of Shopian on Saturday, official sources said.

They said a service gun of SPO Mohammad Amir went off accidentally, injuring him at Zainapora police station in Shopian.

The injured was immediately rushed to local hospital, from where he was referred to Srinagar
