J&K gets 48 new civil servants

JAMMU: The state government on Wednesday appointed as many as 48 successful candidates from Combined Competitive Examination, 2014 to the Junior Scale of the J&K Administrative Service, the J&K Police Service and the J&K Accounts Service.
While 32 candidates have been appointed to J&K Administrative Service, 14 have been selected for the J&K Police Service and two for J&K Accounts Service, all of them in the pay band of Rs. 9300-34,800 with grade pay of Rs.4800.
In the junior scale of administrative services, appointed candidates include Anjum Bashir Khan Khattak, Aliya Tabassum, Fareed Ahmad, Kashyp Neeha Pandita, Imtiyaz Amin Naik, Dhruv Gupta, Syed Sahil Ali, Nirbhay Sharma, Ganie Nisaki UI Farooq, Pankaj Singh, Sunny Gupta, Kifayat Ali, Irtiza kelani, Mohammad Altaf Ganie, Rakib Ahmad Ganie, Samridhi Sharma, Surnit Suri, Afshan Hamal, Sobia Fatima, Varun Kumar Choudhary, Azhar Amin, Sajad Ahmad Bhat Talat, Mahmood Wani, Aamir Bashir Runyal, Ibrar Hussain, Muzzaffar Ahmad Malik, Dr. Mohd Tower, Sheetal, Sadia Ahmed, Shivani Gotra, Shahbaz, and Magbool Ahmed.
Those appointed to J&K Police Service as Deputy Superintendent of Police include Jahangir Ahmad Shah, Latief Ahmad Khan, Faizan All, Sachin Sharma, Rohit Kumar, Mir Tajamul, Himayun Muzzammil, Mohd Ashrif, Ishan Gupta, Showkat Ahmad Bhat, Farha Nishat, Sumit Kumar Sharma, Vishal Targotra and Nilza Angmo.
The two candidates appointed to J&K Accounts Service as Accounts Officers included Waheed UI Rashid and Vishesh Kapoor.
These 48 appointees will remain on probation for a period of two years during which they shall undergo such training and pass the Departmental Examination as prescribed under rules.
