Police foiled Bovine Smuggling bid, rescues 10 cattle

Samba, Feb 21 : Once again Ghagwal Police foiled bovine smuggling bid and rescues ten cattle from the truck today morning in District Samba here today.

According to the Police sources, today early morning Ghagwal Police intercepted a truck bearing registration No JK02W-4645 in the way of Jammu from Kathua. During checking police found ten bovine carrying in the truck illegally transported. Police rescues the ten cattle from the clutches of the bovine smuggler and seized the truck. The driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.

The whole operation conducts under the supervision of SSP Samba Anil Magotra and close supervision of DSP headquarter Samba Deepak Digra.

In this regard Police has taken cognizance the matter and stared investigation.
