New Delhi, Feb 19 : Alleging that the silence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Rs 11,300-crore PNB Bank scam was a sign as to where his loyalties lay, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday said people were eager to know the secret of his silence on the issue.
In a post on the social media, the Congress president said, 'first Lalit (Modi) then (Vijay) Mallya and then Nirav (Modi) also fled the country. Where is the 'Chowkidar' of the country who said 'Na Khaunga Na Khaane Doonga'.
The public is eager to know the secret behind 'Saheb's silence. His silence 'shouts from the rooftops' as to where his loyalties lie.'
Mr Gandhi had on Saturday launched a shartp attack on the PM on the PNB scam, holding the PM responsible for 'destroying' the financial system of the country.
