Online exam for entry to 150 pvt institutions and 25 varsities to be held on May 13

Lucknow ,Feb 19 : ComedK-Unigauge ,started as a simple concept of unifying Private Engineering into a single exam 3 years ago, has now turned into a 150 plus institutions and 25 Universities accepting scores and upward of 125000 students giving an online exam.
ComedK-Unigauge in 2018 has become the second largest multi-university private engineering exam in India.
With a reach of 140 cities and 400 test centres it has grown in strength over the 3 years.
“The vision for 2020 is to be the single, credible, neutral, common entrance test exam for at least 100 Private Universities and 300 colleges in India, offering at least 50,000 engineering seat , thereby minimising the number of tests for students” says P Muralidhar, CEO, ERA Foundation here on Monday.
For the current year COMEDK UGET and Uni-GAUGE E entrance exam will be held on May 13 , 2018 as combined examination for the admission of Engineering BE/B.Tech courses.
The exam will be conducted online at over 150 cities and 375 test centres across the country.
" ComedK institutions have been promoting the cause of engineering aspirants for the last 13 years. This year participant colleges have announced scholarships for deserving students” says Dr Kumar, Executive Secretary COMEDK.
Private and Deemed Universities in India will accept the COMED K and Uni-GAUGE scores this year for admission to BE/B.Tech programs at their respective institutions and universities. Students interested in reputed private universities associated with the COMED K and Uni-GAUGE can apply for the entrance exam.
Applicants have to register at www.unigauge.com on or before April 19,2018.
The entire application and exam process will be online. A detailed process guideline on the online exam and application process has been made available to students on www.unigauge.com. Students have to apply separately to the member Universities with their COMED K and Uni-GAUGE Score card to be eligible to seek admission to the respective universities.
All candidates who have passed or are currently pursuing 10 +2 /PUC / any equivalent exam as approved by AICTE are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.
