Civil Society Doda calls on Director Higher Education

Jammu(Doda), Feb 17: A deputation of Doda Civil Society led by President Doda Development Front Ishtiaq Ahmed Dev was called by Director Higher Education at Dak Bunglow Doda here today.

During the hour long meeting and deliberations held on the education system of the District, members of Doda Civil Society expressed gratitude to Director Higher Education for sanctioning of PG Classes for GDC Doda in Urdu and English subjects.

The delegation on this occasion also apprised Director Higher Education with some demands which includes introduction of Islamic Studies and Psychology subjects and Human Genetic subject to be introduced at UG level besides demand for immediate construction of classroom complex and multi purpose auditorium for GDC Doda.

After listening the demands of deputation patiently, the Director Higher Education assured that he would take up the matter with higher authorities for further course of action as all their demands are genuine and justified.

Meanwhile, the Doda Civil Society also expressed their graritude and thanked to Additional Distt Magistrate (ACR Doda) Tariq Hussain Naik for his support and cooperation while highlighting the issue of GDC Doda.

Those present in this depeutation were Ab Manan Banday, Naseer Ahmed Khora, Nayar Shahzad Tak, Abid Pampori and Zaffar Ullah Rather.
