Dineshwar arrives today, meets Vohra

JAMMU: With the guns on International Border and Line of Control alive for past five days, the Centre's special representative Dineshwar Sharma will be arriving in state today for his fourth visit ever since he was appointed by Union Government to hold Peace dialogue with all the stakeholders in the state.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Sharma met Governor N N Vohra in National Capital and held extensive discussions in regard to several important issues relating to the restoration of peace and normalcy in J&K. On Monday, Sharma is slated to land in Kashmir Valley and is expected to meet the people from all walks of the life.
Sharma, who was appointed the Centre's interlocutor on October 23 to hold talks with all stakeholders in an effort to find lasting peace, has already initiated a slew of measures, including withdrawal of cases against first-time stone pelters and improving the power situation in the Valley, officials said.
