Drug peddlers arrested, 9.5 kg poppy straw recovered
Jammu , Jan 21 : As a part of continuous drive against the menace of the drugs launched by Vijaypur police, today in close co ordination with DSB Ramgarh a operation was carried out at vijaypur in which narcotic peddlers namely Dilip Raj s/o Kalu Ram R/O W.No. 6 vijaypur,Amit Sharma S/O Chhajju Ram R/O W. No. 6 vpr and Sushil kumar S/O Baldev Raj R/O Dhayansar got arrested and about 9.5 kg of poppy straw(bhukki) recovered from them.A weighing machine along with weights used for selling bhukki has also been recovered from them.In this connection case FIR 14/2018 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act registered at PS Vijaypur
The operations was carried out by the Police team headed by Inspr. Suraj Pathania, SHO P/S Vijaypur under the direct supervision of Sh. Abisheik Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur and under overall supervision of Sh. Anil Magotra, KPS SSP Samba
