Two Kashmiris among 112 women to be felicitated by Prez

Srinagar, Jan 18 : Two Kashmiris are among the 112 women achievers who will be felicitated by President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhawan on January 20.

The President will felicitate 112 women achievers who have achieved a first in any field on January 20, 2018 at Rashtrapati Bhawan, an official statement said here on Thursday afternoon.

“Known as 'First Ladies', these women have been identified by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

The two women from Kashmir to be felicitated are Ayesha Aziz, the youngest pilot in India and the first female pilot from Kashmir and Ruveda Salam, a doctor and Kashmir’s first woman Indian Police Service (IPS) officer.
Ayesha, at just 16 received her student license to fly in 2011
