New Delhi, Jan 18 : The Narendra Modi government has fulfilled their long pending demand by abolishing the subsidy given during Haj pilgrimage but the government, which talks about "honouring without appeasement", should also cancel the facilities to other religions, Muslim organisations said on Thursday.

The organisations said the government should also release global tenders by removing the condition that Haj pilgrims should travel by Air India only.
If it is done, the pilgrims will be able to get cheap tickets on other airlines.
They also demanded that the government end the 'dalali' (middlemenship) in the name of providing transport and staying facility to Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

All India Muslim Personal Law Board spokesman Maulana Khalilur-Rahman said India is a secular country therefore people of any religion should not be given a concession
