J&K Govt employees to get revised salaries from April 2018: FM

Jammu, Jan 17 : Government on Wednesday announced that the State Government Employees would get the revised salaries from April 2018.

Replying to the question raised by the Congress MLA, Nawang Rigzin Jora in the Legislative Assembly, the Minister for Finance, Dr Haseeb A Drabu in a written reply said the state government had already announced that revised salary would be paid to the employees from April 2018.

“The state government has also constituted pay committee accordingly to examine the revision of pay scales of the state govt employees and pensioners,” said the Minister.

However, on the interim relief to the employees till the implementation of Seventh Pay Commission recommendations, the Government further replied it had already announced on the floor of the House that the state government employees would receive revised salaries from April 2018.

“Payment of interim relief, as such, is not under consideration of the government,” said the Minister.
