She adds on, "It has taught me that failure is an opportunity to begin again more intelligently and also that each day is a blessing given to us by the almighty, so we should make the most of it and work selflessly for others and for us as well."

Medha also shares impact of her journey on her perspectives. She confesses, "I have learnt how crucial it is to be beautiful inside out. Meeting different beautiful girls, who are beautiful in their own way from all over the country, had broadened my vision. I had an opportunity to learn about different cultures through them." On being asked how she is going forward with her studies and modeling, Medha answers, "I am pursuing BDS and that makes me an upcoming dentist too; that would be my profession. Whereas, modeling has always been my passion, I never thought of it as a job." She elaborates, "When I was a kid, my father was posted in Bhuj (Gujarat). I went there to spend my vacations, once. My mother used to dress me up and do my hair and makeup and my father used to click my pictures. I was the centre of their world and that feeling was not less than that of being a celebrity. Even as young girl, I had immense fondness for camera and that became my passion."

Medha hints that she is still trying to figure it out like any person in his/her twenties would and is passionately curious but she is aware that it is a beautiful thing when career and passion comes together. She feels that right now she is living her dream. "Things are naturally drawing me and connecting me to my path, passion and purpose in life. I am ready to grab each and every opportunity that comes my way and give my best at it," explains Medha. Medha believes that direction is more important than speed and therefore she expresses that she is working hard to make her stance in pageantry. She elaborates, "I am grabbing each and every opportunity that is coming my way to reach closer to my goal. My first and foremost objective in life is to leave my mark wherever I go." Medha says that her motto is perfectly described by a quote of Mahatma Gandhi "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." Medha puts herself in the category of morning person, who starts her day with yoga. She shares, "I love staying fit and try to balance my fondness for yoga and gyming to keep fitness. I believe in Yoga and its importance;the credit goes to yoga and my diet for the positive vibe and vision I have attained." Acting, Dancing, playing Sitar, exploring nature, photography, bird watching, gardening and traveling are some of Medha's other interests. She shares, "All my life I have been a passionate traveler; it's something that really excites me."

Medha further says, "Nothing gives me more peace than going through poetry written by my dad because it introduces me to various hues of life. At the end of the day I simply wind up by switching off my phone and reading a book before going to bed." Medha has also been actively indulging with endorsements for brands and designers and have walked as the showstopper for many Fashion Designers. She is equally devoted to social services as well; she is an active member of NariPehchaan and IRCS. Medha says, "I will be happier when my efforts would help other women to live with pride and dignity. I want to be the voice of women around and fight for what's right." For Medha, personal and professional life should go parallel; running behind one is inappropriate.

She elaborates, "It is essential for every girl to build her career and be self sufficient and independent. Yet she should be dedicated to the family alongside. This ideology concretes when I see my mother; the way she manages both work and family, balancing the personal and professional life so efficiently, inspires me." According to Medha, women of Jammu and Kashmir are globally known for their beauty, grace, intellect and vision; lately there is a surge in sense of enlightenment these days in the minds of women in our state. Insistingupon the abundance of talent here, she expresses, "Women now, are actually coming forward, and daring to try different ventures in life. It makes me proud to see all my beautiful ladies doing so great in their respective fields."

Medha describes empowered woman as the one who stands for herself and knows how to say "NO" whenever needed. "Women should take courage and pride in them as they are the flag bearers of purity and love and are truly a blessing to the society," says Medha. Medha's words to women out there are, "Try to look within your own spirit and follow your instincts, you will surely achieve what you desire." She adds on, "I believe if you want to be powerful, educate yourself!" stressing upon the importance of education.
