Drug peddlers arrested with heroin in Rajouri
Jammu, Jan 15 : Two drug peddlers were arrested on Monday with contraband of heroin in Rajouri
A joint team of SOG and Police Post Chingus Chatyar raised a naka near Kallar Chowk on Rajouri highway and started general checking of vehicles for security reasons in view of forthcoming Republic Day.
During checking, Police personnel intercepted a car moving towards Rajouri and recovered 40 gms of heroin from the possession of two persons.
They arrested two persons identified as Sagher Ahmed and Tadarak Hussain, residents of Dhanore Loharan, Rajouri.
"The vehicle was also seized on the spot while a case under NDPS Act was registered and investigation started," police said.
