Jawan injured as Pak breaches LoC

JAMMU: The Pakistani troops once again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Poonch district on Friday, resulting in injuries to an Army jawan. Official sources informed that Pakistan started unprovoked firing in Malti area of Poonch district in which an army jawan posted in the forward post sustained splinter injuries. Sources said that the injured soldier, who has been identified as Havildar Pushkar singh of Gorkha Rifles, was air lifted to Udhampur Army Hospital.
Singh has got splinter injuries in the abdomen and is currently under treatment.
The ceasefire violation was effectively retaliated by the Indian Army.
