Jammu: In a contempt petition in Public Interest Litigation (PIL) regarding set-up Railway Counter at J&K High Court at par with other High Courts, a Division Bench of State High Court Comprising Chief Justice Badar Durrez Ahmed and Justice Sanjeev Kumar directed directions of the Division Bench dtd 17/03/2016 be carried out in letter and spirit within two weeks from today whereby Division Bench directed Railway Board to Set-up Railway Booking Counter in J&K High Court.
After hearing Adv BR Manhas (who is petitioner also),the Division Bench further directed that In case there is no compliance, then the RK Verma Secretary Railway Board New Delhi shall remain present in the Court on the next date of hearing.
