Bootlegger held with 36 pouches of illicit liquor

Jammu: In continuous efforts of Sub Division Domana to eradicate menace of sale, transportation and distillation of illicit liquor, today Police party of P/P PouniChak today arrested one bootlegger with 36 pouches of illicit liquor. “During naka checking, I/C PP PouniChak SI Arun Slathia stopped one person namely Suresh Kumar s/o Bihari Lal r/o Basti Gajansoo coming from Talab Tillo towards Gajansoo in his vehicle for police check,” police said. On search of his belongings, police recovered 36 frooti 250/250 ml (Desi Whiskey) from his possession which he was carrying to earn illegitimate profit by selling the same in the area. A case FIR No 385/2017 u/s section of law has been registered in P/S Domana.
