Mehbooba, Drabu to attend India Ideas Conclave today

JAMMU: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu will be among the 41 prominent participants of 4th edition of India Ideas Conclave to be begin on Wednesday in Goa.
The conclave which is organised by the India Foundation annually, bringing together a luminary gathering of policy makers and public intellectuals from India and abroad, will be organized from December 15 to 17.
While the finance minister is already in Delhi from past two days and might have moved to event last evening, Mehbooba is scheduled to reach Goa on Wednesday.
The duo will be among the 41 speakers at the concalve which this year has ‘Leadership in 21st Century’ as the central theme.
Venkaiah Naidu, Vice-President of India, Suresh Prabhu, Minister of Commerce, GoI, MJ Akbar, Minister of State for External Affairs, GoI and Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister, Goa will inaugurate the conclave, which will be joined by Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Yogi Adityanath Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and many others.
Over 350 invited intellectuals including government leaders, corporate leaders, scholars, journalists, politicians and social activists will be participating in this conclave.
On 16 and 17 December, there will be Indic thought festival.
