One killed, ten others injured in south Kashmir road accident

Srinagar, Dec 14: One person was killed and 10 others were injured in a road accident in south Kashmir district of Anantnag, official sources said.

They told UNI that a passenger vehicle overturned at Thigiwara, Bijbehara in Anantnag, resulting in on-the-spot death of the conductor and injuries to ten other passengers.

The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital.

After completing all the legal and medical formalities, the body of the deceased, identified as Aaqib Bhat, was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
