Army organised a career counseling for the youth of cherji region.

Kishtwar, Dec 13: In its initiative to contribute positively towards the future of youth in Cherji region, Indian Army organised a career counseling session at Cherji, Kishtwar District.
This activity was targeted towards the children of remote and far flung villages of Cherji region, Kishtwar district who do not have access to Career Counseling facilities and hence are unware of the ample career opportunities available to them after completing 10 + 2 from any stream. A total of 20 Youth attended the event.
Students of Cherji region studying in class 11th and 12th attended the counseling. They were accorded an opportunity to interact with the guest speakers on completion of the formal session and clarify their doubts.
The event was appreciated by the locals and youth of Cherji region, Kishtwar district. The locals while lauding the efforts of the Indian Army expressed hope that such initiatives will help them in shaping a better future for themselves.
