3 held with demonetized currency notes worth over 13 lacs
Srinagar, Dec 12: Police Station, Nigeen Srinagar conducted a surprise checking at Ashai-bagh last evening apprehended three persons namely Bashir Ahmad Khan S/o Mohd Sultan R/o Batmaloo, Showket Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh Mohd R/o Pampore, and Bashir Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh Qadir R/o Pantha chowk.
Police also recovered demonetized currency notes worth rupees Thirteen Lacs, Sixty three thousands & Five hundred from their possession.
The accused persons will be presented before the competent Court today for judicial determination.
