BSF School students to represent J&K at National Level 25th National Children’s Science Congress.

Jammu, Dec 12: BSF School Science Project has been selected for National Level which will be held on 27th December at Ahmedabad, Gujrat. National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) is a national worldwide Science communication programme started in 1993. It is a programme of National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC) department of Science & technology New Delhi.
Two groups of our school namely Akhil and Group and Aashraya Saraf & Group had qualified for the State Level 25th National Children Science Congress which was held at Government Women’s College Parade Jammu on 4th & 5th Dec’2017 under the focal theme of Science technology and innovation for sustainable development.
Over 100 projects were represented from the different prestigious school of J&K and 16 projects have qualified for the national level.
BSF School senior group i.e Akhil Koul (group leader), Anuj, Vasu Dev Singh, Esha Dhiman Raya Bhat have been selected for National Level.
Akhil Koul of our school will represent BSF Sr Sec School and our State Jammu at National Level.
The efforts of a junior group i.e Aashraye Saraf (group leader), Garima Raina, Kritika Bhat and Harshita were also appreciated at the State level.

Principal BSF School Dr S K Shukla felicitated the winning team in the morning assembly and gave away certificate to them. He congratulated them for their splendid performance and applauded the efforts of their guide teacher Mr P k saraswat and Mr Arjun Kumar Sharma for their support and guidance. He wished them good luck for their future endeavours.
