Case against Juvenile

Jammu: while hearing a challan produced by Police Station Gandhi Nagar filed against Shivam Choudhary under offences 307,323,341,147 RPC in FIR No.42/2014, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Jammu Ashwani Sharma observed that Juvenile is facing charges before this court since 2014 for none of his fault and truncated the proceedings against the juvenile besides directing the IGP Jammu to initiate disciplinary action against the erring Investigating Officer as well as then SHO Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. After hearing Advocate Priyanshu Sharma for the accused and Sr PO (CJM Court) the court held that this act of the Investigating officer and then SHO Gandhi Nagar had curtailed the liberty of the juvenile and if such are the acts of the Police department then time is not far away that whole department would get ruined and would go to dogs. CJM Jammu Ashwani Sharma after hearing both the sides truncated the proceedings against the juvenile and directed the IGP Jammu to initiate disciplinary action against the erring Investigating Officer as well as then SHO Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
