Pleasant Sunday morning in Delhi
New Delhi, Dec 10: It was a pleasant Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, the weather office said.
"There was shallow fog in the morning. The sky will be clear throughout the day and maximum temperature is likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.
The visibility was 1,000 metres and humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 92 per cent.
Around 19 trains were cancelled and 19 delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India, while seven were rescheduled.
Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded at 7.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average, and the maximum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above season's average.
