Nanda starts works on PMGSY roads in Pouni

Reasi, Dec 9: Minister of State for Finance and Planning Ajay Nanda today kick started stage-II works of PMGSY roads in Pouni.

The work on Dhanwan to Saloon road having length of 2.2 km would be completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 69.89 lakh while as 6 km long road from Kothian to Sadeen would involve a total of Rs. 334.14 lakh.
While addressing the public meeting, the Minister said the government is focusing on uncharted and far flung areas of the state for development. He said several innovative programmes have been launched by the present regime for poor and disadvantaged sections of society.

He asked the executing agency to evolve an effective mechanism for regular monitoring and follow up of all ongoing development works and called for holding periodic review meetings with all the stakeholders for time bound completion of ongoing projects
