MLC donates modified scooty to specially abled person

JAMMU: Member of Legislative Council (MLC), S Charanjit Singh Khalsa today donated a modified Scooty to a specially abled person at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalsa said that the BJP follows the vision of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay to reach and uplift the living standard of last man of society i.e. “Antodya”, which calls for the provision of equal opportunities for all. He maintained that every needy person must get the benefit for the true progress of a society. He said that the BJP is going for the development of Nation and has adopted a mission of service to mankind.
Another needy aged female with difficulty in moving out of bed approached the MLC for wheel chair, who was also assured by him that the wheel chair will be provided to her within days.
Ashok Kaul, the General Secretary (Organization) said that very public representative must do something for the specially abled population following the trend of today’s charity act.
He said that the specially abled persons have great potential to perform with excellence in all the fields, provided they are provided the opportunities and certain supportive apparatus if needed. He also prompted the party leaders to consult various departments like social welfare to explore various schemes for the benefit of society.
Harmohinder Singh who hailed from the Simbal Camp area on getting scooty thanked the BJP and MLC in particular for the kind gesture shown towards him.
