Car hits stationery lorry, 4 of family killed

Karimnagar, Nov 21: Four people belonging to a family were killed when the car in which they were travelling lost control and dashed against a stationary lorry at Alugunur of Thimmapur Mandal in this district, early on Tuesday.

The victims hailing from Krishna Nagar, Ramagundam in Peddapalli district were proceeding to their native place from Hyderabad when the accident occurred, police said.
Three of them killed on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital.
The deceased were identified as K Ravender (55) and his wife Saritha (45).
The two, along with two others, who is yet to be identified, came to Hyderabad for distributing wedding cards of their son's marriage. The accident occurrred while they were back home.
A case has been registered and investigation is on, police added.
