Elections for PDP president on December 2

JAMMU: The cadre of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will elect its new President on December 2 in Jammu. The Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti is the current president of the party.
As per a press release issued by the party's chairman of the Election Board J&K PDP, the election to the party President J&K Peoples Democratic Party which was scheduled to be held on December 1 shall be held on December 2 now.
"The election for the post of PDP President shall be held at Banquet Hall Jammu at 11 am," the release read.
The election shall be conducted by Abdul Rehman Veeri as Returning Officer while Fallail Singh will be the Election Observer. The Party Electoral College members have also been requested to participate in the election.
