City police solves theft case within 48 hours

Jammu: In Continuation to Operation Meghdoot launched by District police, Jammu against theft and Burgalaries City police station achieved a major success by solving a Theft case within 48 Hours.

On15.11.2017, a written Complaint was lodged by one Ali Mohd Shora S/O Abdul Aziz Shora R/O Hyderpora Srinagar that he was staying in Hotel Mughal Darbaar Residency Road and in the morning hours when he returned back after offering prayers he found his cash rs 25000 stolen from his room.

On this FIR no. 59/2017 U/S 454, 380 was lodged in Police Station City and investigation started .During the course of investigation on the basis of CCTV footage collected from the Hotel the suspect was identified as Mohd Usman Age 21 S/O Abdul Qadir R/O Chawa Rajouri and after tracking his mobile phone arrested from Mallik market jammu .

On his disclosure the stolen amount was recovered .More recoveries are expected to be made.The recovery was made by SI Sunil singh I/C PP Residency Road And Inspector Vishal Sharma SHO Police Station City Jammu under the direct Supervision of Sh Varun Jandial SDPO City North and Sh Vinod Kumar SP City North Jammu.
