Government should declare holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh B Day: Raju

In connection with the call of Jammu Bandh, All political and social organization called Ramban Bandh today.

Addressing the media persons, district president District Congress Committee (DCC) Ramban Arun Singh Raju expressed strong resentment against callous attitude of the State and Center in imposing double Toll Tax at Lakhanpur Toll Post in gross violation of One Nation One Tax law passed by the Parliament of India.

He urged the Prime Minister of India, Narender Modi to immediately intervene to get this draconian law redressed by winding away the Toll Post Lakhanpur.

While criticizing State Government for not declaring public holiday on the birth anniversary of late Maharaja Hari Singh, Raju said that Government has deliberately avoided to accede to the demand of State in general and of Ramban in particular.

The Ramban bandh was called various parties and associations including Bar Association Ramban, Transport Union, Bopar Mandal, Amar Kshtriya Rajput Sabha besides other political parties.
