Clashes, strike in north Kashmir's Hajin
Clashes erupted between the security forces and protestors in north Kashmir’s Hajin, triggering spontaneous shutdown in the area. Official sources said that some miscreants pelted stones at an Army patrol party early in the morning at Hajin town in Bandipora.
They said police party was rushed to the area, where they burst teargas shells to disperse the demonstrators, who were pelting stones. Meanwhile, a normal life was crippled as shops and business establishments were closed and traffic was off the roads in view of clashes.
