G. M Saroori greets people on Diwali

Senior PCC leader and MLA Inderwal, G. M Saroori today extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights.

In a message, Mr. Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said the festival symbolizes the victory of good over evil and truth over falsehood. It underscores high values and the ethos of India’s great civilization. He said the feelings of warmth, love and joys which mark the celebrating of the festival adds colour to our composite heritage and promote amity and brotherhood.

Mr. Saroori said that Diwali symbolized the elimination of all negative forces that impede our progress. He also hoped that the festival would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity besides observed that the festival stood for the triumph of truth over falsehood and of good over evil, highlighting the high values and ethos of Indian civilization.
