Dalai Lama appeals to give up all forms of violent movements

His Holiness Dalai Lama today made a fervent appeal to stop all forms of violence and any form of struggle based on violence. ' There is no term as Buddhist or Muslim terrorists. They are simply terrorists, ' he added. ' The violence between different faiths spread across the globe should come to end, ' he said during a public reception here at City Convention Centre. '

The clash between Buddhist and Muslim at Myanmar is unfortunate. All seven billion human beings are all same and all should live happily. We need to instil the sense of oneness, ' he stated. He further said, ' I respect the United States but have urged the US to act with kindness while dealing with Iraq. The US action and other acts of violence led to birth of Bin Laden . More and more Bin Laden have not come up. '
