New Era Public School celebrates Diwali at Rajouri; student performs Ramayana Act and Dandiya Dance.

To commemorate the celebrations of the festival of lights,New Era Public School celebrated Diwali with full enthusiasm and colorful programmes at school premises here today under the theme "Diwali Dhamaka, this time go for green Diwali".The programme started with the welcome song performed by the students of 4th and 5th class followed by Dandiya Dance, Rangoli Competition and after that a Ramayana Act was showcased by the group of students in which kids from all classes performed the role of various characters in the ramayana.The act was largely appreciated by the audience and the dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs.Palvi Bali, Principal of the school said that the main purpose to organize such event is to make aware the students of our cultural history."With the help of Ramayana Act,we tried to tell the kids that why do we celebrate diwali every year",she added.

"I would like to thanks all the staff members specially the principal mam for motivating us to perform in different acts.We enjoyed alot and also learnt many things from our performances which would be useful for further studies in future"added Miss.Shrishti.

At last,prizes were distributed among the students by the chief guest.The proceedings of the programme were smoothly conducted by Mrs.Suman.The dignitaries present on the occasion were Prof.Niyati Sharma,Mr.Raja Ram Sharma.(Retd Inspector),Mr.Ashwani Sharma, Mr.Vikrant Sharma,Social activist besides parents and staff members of the school.
