Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teacher Federation (JKLTF) constitutes district body

RAMBAN, Oct 16: All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teacher Federation (JKLTF) constituted it's district unit in Ramban, here today.
The body was constituted under the chairmanship of its district president Pawan Kumar.
The body appointed Rajinder Singh, Nayeem Ahmed Rather and Jeevan singh as it's vice president, Sanjay Kumar as secretary, Nissar Ahmed, Sundershan Singh as joint secretary, Pardeep Singh as cas hierarchy, Pritam Singh as public secretary where Rum Kindle as organising secretary while Anil Sharma, Mohammad Hamid and Pardeep Singh was placed in advisory board.
It was decided by the members that the body will work for the welfare of teacher community in large.
They discussed various issues including the recommendation of 7th pay commissione be implemented uniformly throughout the country, pension schemes prior to the 1st January 2014 should be restored in all schools, retirement age of the school teachers in entire country should be 65 years, regular and permanent appointment of educational posts should be ensured and strengthening of training should be arranged, payments of salary of the teachers working in the added schools should be treasury, providing free health care facility to all school teachers for proper medical care and its proper implementation be ensured, past service period should be counted for promotions.
Furthermore they discussed that primary education should be imparted in mother language, the commercialization of education be controlled, teachers should be kept free from non academic task besides many other demands put forward by the deputation.
