Kashmir Civil Society members meet Jammu chamber Prez.

Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Sh. Rakesh Gupta today welcomed the members from Civil Society of Kashmir comprising of Sh. Muzaffar Shah, Chairman JandK Awami National Conference, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, Dy. Grand Mufti and Chairman Muslim Personal Law Board, Sh. Jagmohan Singh Raina, Chairman All Party Sikh Coordination Committee Srinagar, Sh. G.N. Shaheen, Advocate and Mir Javed, Advocate who called upon the Jammu Chamber President at Chamber house Jammu. The visiting guests thanked the Jammu Chamber for positive initiatives that were the need of the hour for bridging the gaps between three region of the state.



Mr. G.N.Shaeen, Advocate also discussed the matter of Constitutional guarantee matters given to the state of JandK and Mr. Muzaffar Shah stressed on the need of getting all people from Civil Society on board and resolve differences if any between the three regions. Mr. Shah also suggested to the JCCI President that both Chambers in the state should jointly invite corporate houses from all over the country so that rich natural resources available in the state like Hydro power, flowers, Medicinal herbs, Granite mines, Marble mines, Lime Stone mines, fisheries, Pashmina wool, handicrafts and so on could be the economy game changers.



Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry President assured the visiting guest that Jammu Chamber shall leave no stone unturned to maintain the communal harmony and shall further expand the efforts to get the three regions together and work collectively for better economy and a booming tourism state.
