Drug peddler held with 14 gm Heroin

JAMMU: A drug peddlers was arrested by Police at Janipur, from whom 14 grams Heroin was recovered. Sources informed that Janipur police today laid a naka at Muthi Morh and signaled one pedestrian for Police check but on seeing the Police, he tried to escape from the spot and the naka party chased and intercepted him. On his personal search, the Police party recovered 14 grams Heroin from his possession, they said, adding, in this regard, a case FIR No. 88/2017 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Janipur and further investigation of the case is going on.
