Jammu Oct, 14: Aircel XI Jammu trounced Media –XI Cricket club by a margin of 50 runs in an Exhibition match played at Maulana Azad Stadium Jammu,
After winning toss, Aircel XI Jammu team, led by skipper, Baldeep Singh elected to bat first and made 200 runs losing 3 wickets in 20 overs. Irshad made 104 of 48 balls and Anand Tripathi scored 56 of 25 balls to help Aircel XI mount 201 runs target on scoreboard in 20 over’s on a slow batting track.
For Media-XI CC side, Ranjeet Singh, and Sunil Bali took 1 wicket each in 3 over spell,
Chasing the target, Media-XI CC, led by Mir Imran could make only 150 run, thus losing the match to Aircel XI by a margin of 50 runs.
Nitin kanotra scored a highest from Media-XI CC side 33 runs in 22 balls for his team while Sunil Bali scored 21 runs in 22 balls.
Mandeep Singh from Aircel XI grabbed 3 wickets in 4 over’s’ spell while Arun Sharma took 2 wickets in 4 over’s spell. Sahil Sharma and Kewal kotwal took 1 wickets each apiece in their over’s’ spell.
