Forest department retrieves 25 kanals forest land in Gandoh.

The Forest Department today got retrieves 25 kanals of Forest land during an anti-encroachment drive in Pingle area of Sub-Division Gandoh

The drive was carried by a team constituted by Range officer Gandoh, Zafferullah Shaikh

The team led by Zafferullah Shaikh, Range Officer Gandoh under the supervision of DFO Bhaderwah and overall supervision of T B Singh CF Chenab visited compartment 48 at Pingle Sub-Division Gandoh and removed the encroachment. The staff of forest department faced stiff resistance however it succeeded in retrieving 25 kanals of forests land

Zafferullah Shaikh briefed that Forest Department is very serious regarding such encroachment on forest land and it will take stringent action regarding illegal activities on forest resources. He said people of the area are cooperating with them and are informing about encroachment on forest land.
