Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the completion of three years of his monthly radio broadcast 'Mann-Ki-Baat' has made government become more sensitive to people's problems. "This Mann-Ki-Baat has not been my thoughts alone. This ensured common people in overwhelming numbers share their views about the country and nation building. I wanted to keep people as focus of 'Mann ki Baat'. I tried to keep it apolitical," Prime Minister said in its 36th version over All India Radio.

It has also helped to connect with the entire country, he said, adding that people have made use of the platform to share their views about the country. In this context, Mr Modi referred to the 'Selfie-with-daughter' campaign launched in Haryana by a Sarpanch and how a small step had sparked off a nationwide movement – it gave daughters "self respect" and parents also started sharing their love and pride about their daughters. "All these show that the country is marching towards right direction....Mann ki Baat helped me understand that people want to contribute in nation building," he said. PM Modi also urged people to give further push to the Khadi movement and said promotion of khadi will also help to generate employment.
