Reshuffle in middle rung administration

JAMMU: Reshuffling the middle rung administration in state, the government on Tuesday ordered for transfers and posting of 8 KAS officers, besides ordering one KAS officer to hold an additional post.
Through multiple orders, the government ordered of transfer of Ashish Kumar Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, posting him as Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, vice Nagendra Singh Jamwal, who has been shifted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department while giving the charge of post of Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu to Khalid Majeed, Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspections), Jammu.
As per the orders, Farooq Ahmad Rather, Regional Transport Officer, Kashmir, has been transferred and posted as Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Water-shed Management Programme, J&K; Anuradha Gupta, Additional District Development Commissioner, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Jammu, both of them the available vacancies; Naseer Ahmad Wani, Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, under orders of transfer as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, shall continue as Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department.
The orders also stated that Parvez Sajad Ganai, KAS, under orders of transfer as Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Shopian, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shopian, besides holding the additional charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Shopian, till further orders; Dr Fayaz Ahmad Banday, General Manager, DIC, Srinagar, under orders of transfer as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, shall continue as General Manager, DIC, Srinagar whereas Vaibhav Kohli, Additional Secretary to the Government, Health and Medical Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department.
Besides, the government also shifted one under secretary on Tuesday.
Mohammad Yaseen Baqal, Under Secretary to the Government, Forest, Environment and Ecology Department, was transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Horticulture Department.
