JAMMU: After remaining blocked for close to three hours, the 300-kilometers long Srinagar-Jammu national highway was restored later on Tuesday.
A landslide blocked the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Ramban district, however, the same was cleared in two-and-a-half hours to ensure smooth movement of traffic, officials said.
The landslide occurred at 06:25 AM and blocked the arterial road in Ramsu area of Ramban district, an official of the traffic department said.
The highway is the only all-weather road linking Kashmir to rest of the country.
