Kohli pays obeisance at Nangabaji Malangam shrine

BANDIPORA, AUGUST 16: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli today visited Malangam here and paid obeisance at the shrine of Hazrat Rasul Shah popularly known as Baba Nangabaji Sahab.
The Minister offered prayers at the shrine and prayed for the peace and prosperity of the State.
District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Sajjad Hussain, SSP Sheikh Zulfikar and Officers of Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Departments accompanied the Minister.
On the occasion, Kohli was informed that thousands of pilgrims within and outside the State visited the revered shrine during the recently concluded annual urs. The annual urs of Nangabaji sahab is observed in the first week of August every year.
During the visit, Sajjada Nashin (hereditary administrator) interacted with the Minister about the affairs of the Shrine and need of its upkeep. Various public deputations also met the Minister and apprised him of issues confronting them. The Minister gave them a patient hearing and assured of timely redressal of all the projected issues on priority.
