Nine KAS Officers transferred

Jammu: The state government on Thursday, ordered for transfers and postings of 9 KAS officers in what was the second middle-rung reshuffle in the span of one week.
Those officers shifted include Harbans Lal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nowshera, who is transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Reasi, vice Abdul Sattar while Sattar will replace Harbans Lal as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Nowshera; Peerzada Hafizullah Shah, Special Secretary to the Government, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, is transferred and posted as Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K, relieving Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Secretary to the Government, Cooperative Department of the additional charge; Naresh Kumar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Darmari, is transferred and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, R.S. Pura, vice Susheel Kumar, who shall await further orders of posting in the office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu.
The list also include Jagdish Chander, Project Officer, Self Employment, Udhampur, who is transferred -and posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Darmari, vice Naresh Kumar; Mohammad Latif, Deputy Secretary to the Government, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, is transferred and posted as Special Assistant with the Hon'ble Minister of State for Haj and Auqaf (Independent Charge), PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Power Development, Industries and Commerce; Vishesh Paul Mahajan, Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu, is transferred and posted as Deputy Excise Commissioner, Toll Post, Lakhanpur, vice Rajesh Sharma, who has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, against an available vacancy and Arun Kishore Kotwal, Deputy Secretary to the Government, FCS&CA Department, is transferred and posted as Special Assistant with the Hon'ble Minister for FCS&CA and Information.
In a separate order, Shafiq Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shopian, is also directed to hold the charge of the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Zainpora, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
This is second major reshuffle of KAS officers within one week. Earlier, the state government had transferred and posted 12 of its officers, including an IAS officer, on Friday, August 04.
