Higher Edu Dept decides to call meeting of Principals of all govt colleges on July 29

Haryana Higher Education Department has decided to call a meeting of Principals of all government colleges in the state at Red Bishop, Panchkula on July 29 at 1100 Hrs. Stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that various matters would be discussed in the meeting, including action taken report regarding decisions in last meeting of principals, feedback about centralised online admissions, report or demand regarding construction of hostels, requirements for additional seats and courses for next session and release of scholarships under various schemes.

Apart from this, review of RUSA projects, IIT spoken tutorial, CM announcements, and sports, NCC, NSS, scouts and guides and excursion programmes would also be taken up in the meeting. He said any proposal for additional infrastructure and maintenance projects, any issue regarding guidelines dated July 20, 2017 with respect to extension lecturers and any other item would also be discussed in the meeting with the permission of the Chair. He said the principals have been directed to bring along details of teaching staff, including regular, ad-hoc, guest and extension, as on July 20, 2017. A soft copy of the same in MS-Excel format in rewritable CD has also been solicited, he added.
